WxEditor 1.0.9 Release Notes

  • Dialog mask backgrounds are now transparent: background content no longer dims when a dialog opens.

  • Major Markdown preview upgrade: full syntax support (GFM alerts, definition lists, super/subscripts, math, and more), Mermaid diagrams rendered in place (flowcharts, sequence diagrams, gantt charts, 9 more types), a new scrollbar, drag-to-edge auto-scroll, and a right-click copy menu plus Edit → Copy.

  • System integration: “Open with WxEditor” in the file manager context menu (folders and files), plus a supported-formats association toggle.

  • Fixed severe lag opening files with very long lines (a 7,000-character line: 24.5 s → 0.03 s).

  • Fixed the misplaced “System Integration” page in the settings dialog; Arabic code line-number misplacement fixed (RTL).
