WxReader 1.0.9 Release Notes

  • Dialog mask backgrounds are now transparent: background content no longer dims when a dialog opens.

  • Code block rendering polish: the syntax highlighting theme background now matches the reader, and long code lines wrap automatically (no more horizontal scrolling).

  • Major Markdown reading upgrade: full syntax support (GFM alerts, definition lists, super/subscripts, math, wikilinks, smart punctuation, emoji, and more), Mermaid diagrams rendered in place (flowcharts, sequence diagrams, gantt charts, 9 more types), inline local images.

  • New math formula typesetting: fractions, roots, super/subscripts, big operators, matrices, Greek letters and other common syntax, with an embedded math font for crisp formulas.

  • New code block syntax highlighting: 200+ programming languages; drag-to-edge auto-scroll.

  • File association: supported e-book formats can be set as the default open action, with self-healing association state.

  • Reading window title now shows the book title or file name; RTL text (Arabic, etc.) rendering fixed.
