WxArc 1.0.9 Release Notes

  • Dialog mask backgrounds are now transparent: background content no longer dims when a dialog opens.

  • Windows Explorer context menu upgrade: “Compress with WxArc” now also on regular files; switched to a COM shell extension — multi-selected files are merged into a single instance in one pass, with the app icon on menu items.

  • Fixed the archive filename suffix rule: the suffix is decided by the chosen archive format.

  • Installers now register the context menu automatically and clean it up on uninstall (including user-enabled file associations).

  • Updated embedded wxrt runtime: text input shortcuts (CAPS LOCK), RTL text (Arabic) fixes, and more.
