WxFile 1.0.9 Release Notes

  • Dialog mask backgrounds are now transparent: background content no longer dims when a dialog opens.

  • wxfile-sync scheduled-sync daemon improvements: a real Windows service implementation (standard service control protocol, automatic UAC elevation during install, automatic restart after crashes); new Alpine/OpenRC and FreeBSD/rc.d service support; fixed the Linux privilege-escalation path and install command exit-code checks.

  • Added a user manual in 21 languages (introduction, sites and connections, transfer queue and conflict handling, troubleshooting, and more — 12 chapters).

  • Updated embedded wxrt runtime: text input shortcuts (CAPS LOCK), HTML table rendering, RTL text (Arabic) fixes, and more.
