Free
- Available: SSH/serial/TCP/UDP/WebSocket connections, quick connect, SFTP transfer, drag-and-drop transfer, transfer queue, SSH key management, public key assistant, terminal find, built-in themes, custom themes, background image, keymap editor, internationalization, auto update, AI assistant, session lock, window detach, vertical split, tab groups.
- Limitations: tabs ≤5, saved sessions ≤10, port forwards ≤2, no TFTP server, no X11/Agent forwarding, no system management/scripts/batch commands, no cloud sync.
Trial
- Time-limited access to nearly all Pro features (everything except cloud sync).
- Tabs ≤5, saved sessions ≤10, port forwards ≤5, no cloud sync.
- Automatically downgrades to Free after expiry.
Pro
- All features unlocked, no special limitations.
- Includes: unlimited tabs/sessions, split/tab groups, drag-and-drop/transfer queue/TFTP, unlimited port forwarding, X11/Agent forwarding, system management, script features, batch commands, custom themes, background image, keymap editor, AI assistant, cloud sync, session lock, window detach.
Ent
- Feature-wise identical to Pro.
- The differences are in server-side licensing: more devices, team-shared sessions, priority support, customizable branding.
Edu
- Close to Pro, but SSH port forwarding is limited to 5 rules.
- Everything else is available (including TFTP server, custom themes, cloud sync, etc.).
Dev
- All features unlocked, identical to Pro.
13.4 Upgrade and Purchase
13.5 How Plan Limits Appear in the UI
When you try to use a feature not included in your plan:
- Menu items: shown grayed out; clicking shows a “This feature is restricted by your current plan” notice.
- Tab context menu: restricted items are grayed out.
- Toolbar buttons: restricted buttons are disabled.
Downgrading never deletes saved data (sessions, themes, scripts, etc. are all retained) — only the feature entry points are disabled. After upgrading, all features become available again immediately.
