Chapter 10 Configuration Files
All WxArc user data lives in a single directory — no registry entries, no scattered files.
10.1 Directory layout
~/.wxarc/

On Windows it is %APPDATA%\wxarc\; on macOS

The settings dialog rewrites this file on save; manual edits take effect after a restart. A corrupted file falls back to defaults.
10.3 Logs
Logs roll daily; release builds log Error level only. Start with
wxarc --debug (or --log-level trace) when troubleshooting. When
reporting an issue, attaching the day’s log from ~/.wxarc/logs/ helps
the most.
10.4 Reset
Quit WxArc and delete the ~/.wxarc/ directory to return to factory
state (your archives are not affected).
